Thanks for reporting a problem. We'll attach technical data about this session to help us figure out the issue. Which of these best describes the problem?

Any other details or context?

Today I wanted to share another real-life case study that gives you a glimpse into the appliance repair trade, what it's like doing the work and how much money can be made once you've learned some basic skills.

In the above video, I go through the process of diagnosing and repairing a washing machine someone gave me last week for free. It's one of the nicest machines I've ever received as it was owned by a couple that only used the machine for two weeks out of each year.

It needed one $5 part that took about 15 minutes to replace.

We are going to keep the washer for our family, as it's essentially in new condition, but if I were to sell this machine I would sell it for about $260. Machines in more used condition easily sell for $200-$240.

I go over the entire repair process for this machine in depth in the Tradeskills.io Appliance Repair course in the Case Study section.
